Glassing the panels

So far this week we have learned about fiberglassing. The System3 epoxy system has gone on well. We cut the glass matting just bigger than the 3 main panels of the boat. You can see in the pictures. One coat of epoxy on the wood, then the glass matting, and finally another 3 coats on top of that (up next). I have to sand between coats. The glass work is done now because it is easier to get a flat smooth finish when working horizontally. Once all this glass work is done, then some varnish work on the inside of the panels and finally stitch and glue assembly of the hull.
